POINT LOOKOUT Situated at the Northern tip of the Island, Point Lookout is Queensland’s most easterly point. The township is located 20 km from Dunwich. Point Lookout is actually a series of beaches and headlands that can easily be explored by foot. Point Lookout boasts outstanding surfing beaches and spectacular seascape views. There is a range of relaxed outdoor cafes and eateries at Point Lookout and all normal services and facilities are available. Shops, schools, churches, police, hotel, clubs, doctors, ambulance and fire are all available on the island. Point Lookout’s unspoilt beaches and headlands are perfect for swimming, surfing and fishing all year. Whales, Dolphins, Turtles and Manta Rays are regularly spotted. Pandanus Palms booking office can arrange these bookings for you. The ferry takes approximately 45 minutes across Moreton Bay to the island. So easy to get here!
