The CityCat ferry (200m from hotel) takes you to the city center in nine minutes and to Southbank Parklands or the Southbank train station in 19 minutes. Buses are readily available a short distance from the hotel. Taxis to the city center cost approximately $10.00. There are a variety of restaurants, pubs and shops within easy walking distance from the Wellington. Directions

From the North & airport (13km) Take the Gateway Arterial to the ‘City’ exit on Kingsford Smith Drive (25) and follow it to Fortitude Valley, turning left onto the Story Bridge (15). Stay on 15 through Kangaroo Point until you reach the Pineapple Hotel. Turn left into Baines Street and two blocks further turn left again onto Wellington Road. Your hotel is the third building on your left past the park. From the South Take Stanley Street off the freeway, then onto Vulture Street, past the Gabba. Turn left into Wellington Road. Your hotel is 800m on the left, the third building past the park. From Ipswich Road Turn right at the Gabba into Vulture Street, Turn left into Wellington Road.
